Since my last post, winter turned into spring, and I couldn't be more happy. 😊 Every year at the end of winter, my heart sings when I think of spring - my favourite season. I was born in May and only recently I have been noticing that people are fond of the season they were born. I wonder if it's true?

We have now had an amazing 3 weeks of spring, and the English countryside is blooming beautifully.

For this design I have used DMC Pearl, Petra and Stranded Cotton and you can see all in the video tutorial further below.

This design can be filled with colour according to any season. I can just imagine frosted blue roses in winter and faded roses in brown, dark brown and yellow tones at the end of summer.

Christmas Bauble, Embroidery Pattern C01

This beautiful Christmas bauble is very easy to do and can be finished according to your taste. I used a tree branch with a ribbon, just ribbon for the second design and for the third one the ribbon was embroidered. 

The simple stitches I used were: back, satin, fly, fishbone and French knot. As for the thread, use any one you like. I used DMC Petra cotton and I have listed all info in the video tutorial, which you can watch here: Christmas Bauble Embroidery.
