Happy New Year! Today on the channel, we are making this easy and beautiful embroidered pouch with a silky lining. It is not only a wonderful gift idea but also great present for yourself for any little treasures.
All you need is a linen fabric, with a colour of your choice, lining fabric, vintage type ribbon, and some thread. I used linen in blue, pink silky lining, ribbon bought on ebay and DMC Petra Cotton thread in size 5, in four colours (all listed in the video tutorial).
First, you start by cutting a rectangular fabric, but before you do that, fold it in half and see if this is the size of the pouch you would like, minus 3cm from the top and bottom, and 1cm on each side for sewing. If you are happy with your size, then go ahead and cut your fabric. Your lining will be exactly the same size.
Start embroidering with my pattern or any other pattern you like. Then follow the instructions in the video to complete your pouch.
