HAPPY NEW YEAR!

It is the middle of winter and the English countryside is in its deep sleep. Although, the days are finally getting longer, the trees are still bare, and the coldest weeks are still ahead of us.

If you are a spring lover, such as myself, you can nevertheless find joy in this time of the year.

 

When I lived in Poland, I had to wait till March or April for the first signs of spring. Since moving to England, I have always been on the lookout for snowdrops right after the New Year, with daffodils and tulips to follow soon after. 

This year however, they made their first appearance already in December! I was also happy to enjoy the sight of roses, touched by the magical wintry light.

I hope, you will enjoy what is coming next here at Bonjour Embroidery. Many beautiful designs are on the way, with spring blooms, such as snowdrops coming up first, to remind us, that Spring is not that far away.
