Free Embroidery Pattern 002 using DMC Petra Cotton

I have experimented with this beautiful, chunky DMC Petra thread used mainly for crocheting. I like how raised the flowers and leaves are. I think similar effect can be achieved with Coton Perlé. For French knots I used Coton Perlé in size 3. The fabric is linen in peach colour.

This new soft coloured flower pattern is here. It was inspired by the end of summer, delicate roses and leaves. It was made with double thread and I used DMC Pearl Cotton in size 5.
